Mumbai: Indian smartphone maker Micromax is reportedly planning to release a Tegra-powered 4G LTE smartphone within a few weeks.

According to a post on AndroidOS.in, a Twitter post by Leakster Inc. revealed this unnamed device on their account. The post also stated the phone to carry a Tegra-powered Nvidia Tegra 4i processor.

According to AndroidOS.in, the phone looks daringly similar like the French smartphone maker’s Wiko Mobile’s Wax smartphone which is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra chipset. Beliefs state that the phone could be a rebranding of the same phone with the Micromax Logo printed on the rear, similar to how the Tegra Note Tablet was launched. It is unknown why the 4G phone with LTE is being launched now in India since network is presently scarce in the country.

The new flagship model is said to feature a 4.7-inch HD display, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and Android Jelly Bean v4.3. There is no further information about the exact specifications are and what the pricing could be.
