BJP's 8-minute video on 'neglect of Amethi' goes viral
It is learnt copies of the short film will be circulated in Amethi
Mumbai: Hours before BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressed the rally in Amethi on Monday, an 8-minute video was released by the party, purportedly showing how the region has fallen to 'despair'.
One or the other member of the Nehru-Gandhi family has been its MP for 35 years.
The video is no-holds barred, shot mostly in black and white -- to make more stark the poverty and squalor of the region -- and has gone viral on the Net.
Towards the end, the clip becomes colourful with Narendra Modi appearing on screen followed by his address to a massive gathering the day he filed nominations from Varanasi. The video ends with BJP's campaign theme, 'Acche din aane wale hai'.
It is learnt copies of the short film will be circulated in Amethi.
As it is the day before the polls, with campaigning having stopped, the BJP came up with this video to rev up some anti-Congress buzz.
