Governor directed senior officials to personally monitor the progress of work

HYDERABAD: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has approved the proposals made by different committees regarding allotting buildings in the Secretariat to the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
 
The Lake View Guest House has been earmarked as the AP Chief Minister’s Camp Office and the famous Jubilee Hall will be the Legislative Council for AP.
 
In the Secretariat, A, B, C and D blocks have been allotted to Telangana and H, K and L blocks have been allotted to AP.
Mr Narasimhan on Tuesday held a high-level meeting at Sudharma block in Raj Bhavan with officials of various committees on physical assets’ (buildings) allocation and space allocation to different departments in the Secretariat.
 
The Governor directed senior officials to personally monitor the progress of work related to the allotment and upkeep of the chambers meant for elected governments. He also instructed legislative secretary S. Raja Sadaram to take appropriate steps to make ready the Legislative Assembly and Council halls and complete the civil works before May 20.
