Akshay Kumar to don four avatars in his upcoming movies
Akshay will be seen experimenting with his looks in his films
Mumbai: His next four films will be released over the next eight months and in each film the audience will get to see a new version of Akshay Kumar. Starting with Holiday, Akshay will be seen experimenting with his looks in Its Entertainment, Gabbar and a yet untitled film by Neeraj Pandey, which is currently being shot in Nepal.
A close associate says, “While in Holiday he plays a no-nonsense army man, where his look resembles how he looks in real life, it is going to be a complete shift in It’s Entertainment. The film was shot over three months in Thailand where Akshay took a few fashion liberties.” In Gabbar, Akshay will be sporting an overgrown beard and unkempt hair. We hear it’s his favourite look among his current films. However, his look in Neeraj Pandey’s next, is being kept under wraps.
The actor says, “Directors always tell me they want me to look like I have never looked before. Of course sometimes by the time we roll, I do feel that not much has changed and my performance has to make a difference more than anything else.”
He goes on to add, “Also, because I am in the middle of many shoots, I can’t change my look drastically. Some directors even fear that too much change in my appearance might alienate my audience. But in the coming months, you will see many changes in me in terms of looks, style and genre. Anyone who knows me is aware of how much I love change. And now that will be seen in my films as well.”
