London: Posing for a ‘selfie’ is not always a cool idea. A man sent a selfie he took on the stolen phone to the actual owner, according to the Daily Mail.

The photo was taken on the missing phone and uploaded to the owner’s online account. Daniela, the owner of the phone, suspects that the man stole her phone from a nightclub she had visited with her friend.

She was shocked to find the image had uploaded automatically to her Dropbox account. However, this has turned into a blessing. Cops are now in search of the ‘dumb’ thief.

“I can't believe it”, was her reaction, when the photo popped up when she accessed her Dropbox account through her computer after losing her Samsung Galaxy mobile phone.

The pictures show the suspect wearing a white t-shirt and slumped against a wall, the Daily Mail reported. “Police are now investigating photos that appear to have been uploaded from one of these phones, and would like to speak to the man shown in these images,” it added.
