I would have sent Narendra Modi to jail: Mamata Banerjee

Berhampore (West Bengal): Intensifying her attack on Narendra Modi, Trinamul boss and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday that had she been at the Centre, she would have sent him to jail.

“They (Congress) has no guts. It’s shivering with fear. For its survival, the party is indulging in match-fixing, not uttering a word against Modi. It seems to be in love with Modi.”

Campaigning here for party candidate Indranil Sen, she added: “Had I been in Delhi in place of the Congress, I’d have sent Modi to jail by tying a rope around his waist.”
