Sources from the team of Ek Villain tell us that director Mohit Suri, while recently shooting in Goa, gave the cast and crew of the film a “cool” surprise. A source says, “There is a scene in the film where Shraddha Kapoor’s character (Aisha) says she has never experienced snowfall in real life and that one of her biggest wishes is to have fun in the snow. That’s why Sidharth Malhotra, who plays her romantic interest Guru, decides to introduce her to a surprise world filled with snow, to make her happy. The plan was to create snow through VFX but at the last minute, Mohit decided that it should be done in a realistic way.

He wanted everything to be natural and in its purest form so as to retain the authenticity of the scene, which is an important part in the film. That’s why more than 50,000 kilos of ice had to be ordered and stored in the correct temperature to create snow for this romantic sequence. Once the shoot was over, the cast and crew had a lot of fun in the snow, which was a huge relief from the sweltering Goa heat where they had been shooting for so long.”
