Uttar Pradesh: Re-polling in Uttar Pradesh to be held on May 13 ahead of accusations by observers and the opposition parties, especially the BJP and BSP, of the ruling party to capture the booths.
The re-poll will take place at polling stations in Muzaffarnagar, Badaun and Firozabad constituencies after charges were investigated at some polling stations of booth capturing and rigging during the polling in the state.
Mulayam Singh Yadav - Akshay and Dharmendra Yadav, the members of SP, are contesting from Firozabad and Budaun seats.
The votes polled in these booths have been declared null and void under the Peoples Representation Act – 1951, as per an Election Commission official.
