Hyderabad team wins gold at Microsoft Imagine Cup 2014

Team 'Seven Summits' from Hyderabad.

Team 'Seven Summits' comprising of Asar Dhandala, Prithvi Raj Pawar and mentored by Nawaz Dhandala from Backstage Pass - School of Gaming (Hyderabad), has won the gold trophy at Microsoft Imagine Cup (Game Design - India National Finals category). 

'Seven Summits' game 'Petite' won the first place. It is an ambient game centred on the life of a woman, beginning from her infancy to her adulthood. Players lead the protagonist of the game through her life, following her memories based on the emotions associated with them.

Imagine Cup is defined as the Olympics of Technology and is more than just a competition. It is a platform for young entrepreneurs, developers and innovators to develop and showcase their technology-based business ideas, create products, put together business plans and even take their products to market, often catapulting them to global fame and fortune.

'Seven Summits' is also nominated for Indie Prize Awards at Casual Connect (Asia) which is being held in Singapore on 20th of May, following which the full version of the game would be released on the Windows platform. It is also set to release on iOS and Android a few weeks later.
