First look: Rekha, Katrina, Aditya Roy Kapur in 'Fitoor'

The film is an adaptation of Charles Dicken's classic 'Great Expectations'

Mumbai: The first look for Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' is out and the entire cast has come together for a photo shoot.

Bollywood diva Rekha has joined Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for the film by 'Kai Po Che' director.

It is Kapoor's second movie adaptation and is based on Charles Dickens' 'The Great Expectations'.

'Fitoor' is a love saga which will see Aditya Roy Kapoor as a young artist named Noor. Katrina Kaif will dawn the role of a heart breaker and Rekha will enact the role of a temperamental Begum, a role inspired by Dickens' iconic character Mrs Havisham. Rekha's character will be the catalyst that spins the romance tale forward. The love saga has been scripted across decades and continents.

The script has been penned by Supratik Sen and Abhishek Kapoor and the film is slated to begin shooting in August this year. The movie will be shot across locations in North India, including Kashmir and Delhi, as well as international destinations.

Rekha will be playing Katrina Kaif's godmother in the film. As for Aditya and Katrina's pairing, it will be for the first time.

'Fitoor' will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures in association with Sky Production.
