Rajinikanth, Vijay are in awe of Modi and 'Amma' Jayalalithaa

 

Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth’s meeting with BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi created quite a brouhaha some time back both in the political and filmi circles alike. Though the Enthiran star brushed it off as a personal affair owing to the former’s regard for Gujarat Chief Minister, there were tight speculations about the star’s indirect endorsement of the person who was considered the face of BJP. Call it the blessing of ‘Rajini mania’ (pun intended) or the anti incumbency factor, the party emerged victorious.

 

The Superstar took on to Twitter expressing his feelings, “Hearty Congratulations dear @narendramodi Ji on your historic win. Best wishes.” He also lauded amma for the sweeping victory of AIADMK. “My congratulations to Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha ji on her landslide victory.”

 

Ilayathalapathy Vijay too congratulated Narendra Modi and Jayalalithaa for the duo’s victory in a press release which he released on Friday. Addressing both of them as the prominent forces of the nation, the Kaththi star expressed his happiness for the gargantuan victory of BJP at the centre and AIADMK at Tamil Nadu.

 

Vijay added that he took pride for their achievement and that he is looking forward to a vibrant future under their respective leadership and wished them good luck for further endeavours.
