Election 2014 results: YSRC is second biggest party in vote share
YSRC will get status of a recognised party with its vote share of 28.1 percent
Hyderabad: Despite defeat, the YSR Congress has emerged as the second biggest party with majority vote share in undivided Andhra Pradesh. According to Election Commission of India for Lok Sabha, the YSRC has a vote share of 28.1 per cent, the TD 28.2 percent, the TRS 14.9 percent, the Congress 12.1 per cent and the BJP 8.9 per cent.
The YSRC will be getting the status of a recognised party with the vote share it got. The YSRC gave a good performance in Khammam district of Telan-gana but failed in the city and other parts of the Telangana region.
The YSRC won three Assembly seats Wyra, Pinapaka and Aswaraopet. For the Assembly seats in both Telangana and AP together, the TD has got 32.6 per cent followed by the YSRC at 28 per cent, the TRS at 13.6 per cent, the Congress at 11.6 per cent and the BJP at 4.1 per cent.
