Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi turned the spotlight on him when he walked the red carpet at the Berlin International Film Festival, for the World Premiere of Danis Tanovic last release, ‘The Life of an Iron Picker’. He had signed his first International film with Oscar award winner, Danis, and was very excited about this project. However, the project seems to have reached a dead end.

According to a report in Absolute India, the film which has already been shot has no takers. There is no update on the next activity of the film and there are issues with the funds too.

The actor is currently shuttling between Canada and Mumbai where his son Ayaan is getting his treatment done. ‘Mr X’, which Emraan Hashmi has already started shooting, will need a lot of VFX which will take lots of time. So Emraan has no dates to accommodate anything else as of now.

Emraan Hashmi was very excited about this project when he had signed on the dotted line. The film is produced by Prashita Chaudhary’s Cinemorphic Productions in collaboration with Anurag Kashyap and Guneet Moga.
