KCR advises party cadre to avoid wasteful expenditure

Hyderabad: Chief Minister in waiting and TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao prefers a simple towel over a costly garland, bouquets and other presentations!

“Don’t waste money on huge garlands, costly bo-uquets, Dappus (band), shawls and other items, besides functions. A simple greeting is enough. If you still want to present, why not a simple towel which can be useful to anyone,” he remarked in a lighter vein during his pep talk at the first TRS legislature and parliamentary party meeting at Telangana Bhavan, which was attended by newly elected 63 MLAs and 11 LS members.

“Simplicity, honesty and inclusiveness should be our attitude. We have a huge task ahead in the reconstruction of Telangana,” Mr Rao said.
