YSRC claims that it lost to TD with a narrow margin of 1.96 per cent

Hyderabad: All sitting MLAs except four of YSR Congress lost in the general elections. Out of 18 MLAs only four of them got re-elected including Shoba Nagi Reddy posthumously from Allagadda, Srikanth Reddy from Rayachoti, Korumutla Srinivasulu from Koduru and P. Ramakrishna Reddy from Macherla won the elections.

A sources said, “Jagan had promised that if he comes to power he would make all the 18 MLAs who resigned for him will be given cabinet berth. However, only four of them were relected and the party lost.”

Meanwhile YSRC claims that it lost to TD with a narrow margin of 1.96 per cent vote or 5.6 lakh votes. TD has got 1.34 crore votes and YSRC got 1.29 crore votes.

TD has 46.86 per centage of vote share and YSRC has got 44.9 per centage of vote share.
