Chandrababu Naidu wants Andhra Governor to settle split amicably
Naidu asked Governor to bring total transparency in all issues relating to state bifurcation
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu whose party emerged victorious in the Seemandhra polls, met Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Monday and asked him to bring total transparency in all issues relating to state bifurcation.
Mr Naidu led a large contingent of newly elected party MPs and MLAs to the Governor and also had a one-on-one meeting with Mr Narasimhan.
On Sunday, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao had led his party MPs and MLAs to the Governor and handed over the resolution of the legislature party electing him as leader. Mr Naidu could not do the same thing as there has been no formal election of the TD legislature party.
The TD chief said it was unfortunate that a senior politician like him was not kept abreast of developments on the bifurcation front. The people’s representatives should have been informed about the process, he said.
