txtWeb launched ‘Build Your First App’
Mumbai: txtWeb, a text-based application, launched ‘Build Your First App’, a platform to create apps. Students and professionals from a non-coding background can also develop their own apps with txtWeb.
txtWeb, an Intuit Inc. property is an app store for text-based apps, which works across all messaging platforms e.g. SMS, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Google Talk.
The ‘Build Your First App’ initiative aims to simplify the process of creating apps and widen the pool of developers. Any individual with an idea can log onto txtWeb, follow simple instructions and in minutes create an app that can be used by millions of mobile phone users across India. Aspirants who publish apps on txtWeb by June 15, 2014 will receive special recognition as txtWeb certified developers.
Aminish Sharma, Head of Technology, txtWeb said “Today, we see that most students and young professionals are creative but might lack the required skills to build an app. Through this initiative, we aim to empower individuals from all academic backgrounds to build apps and take their idea out to the larger audience. I look forward to a host of innovative apps coming in from these aspirants.”
