Court remanded Kejriwal to judicial custody for not furnishing bail bond

New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will have to remain in Tihar Jail for another 15 days with a court here on Friday extending till June 6 his judicial custody in connection with a criminal defamation complaint filed against him by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.

Mr Kejriwal was produced before metropolitan magistrate Gomati Manocha in a jampacked courtroom and he again refused to furnish a bail bond for his release.

The court refused to review its May 21 order remanding Kejriwal to judicial custody for not furnishing the bail bond.
