Varun Dhawan had a heartbreak

Mumbai: In a candid confession, Varun Dhawan said recently that he wanted to get married when he was in college but unfortunately his ladylove at the time broke his heart. 

The young actor said, “I was madly in love with her but her parents did not approve of the match. Her father did not like me because I wanted to join the film industry. There was emotional blackmail involved too when I was told that the girl’s father had a heart problem. There wasn’t much I could do, but I tried a lot to work things out. The girl did not fight hard enough though. If she had, I would have been a married man today.”
