New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister-designate K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday "welcomed" his counterpart in Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu to visit the "war room", amidst reports that it has been created by TRS to drive out public servants who do not belong to Telangana from Hyderabad.

Announcing this at a press conference here, TRS chief Rao stated that the "war room" was nothing but a room comprising computers and operators to compile information.

"Welcome, most welcome......", Rao told reporters to a query on whether Naidu would be allowed to visit the war room.

The creation of the war room has created a storm in Seemandhra region as it is being seen as an attempt to move government employees from coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema out
of Hyderabad.

Earlier, Rao had issued a statement a few days back that the government employees from Seemandhra should work for the new post-bifurcation residual state of Andhra Pradesh.
Parrying a question on no representation for Telangana MPs in the Union Cabinet, Rao said he could not reply to it.

"Your question must be addressed to Narendra Modi and not KCR," he added.
