Narendra Modi assures mutual growth and co-operation after talks with different SAARC leaders
The Prime Minster had a substantive meeting with all SAARC leaders
New Delhi: Narendra Modi had substantive meetings with all the 8 leaders, who appreciated his invitation to the oath-taking ceremony. “Good to see that all 8 leaders graciously came and joined us.PM said their presence enriched our celebrations,” he said.

Modi asked Sharif to expedite 26/11 trial, wants full trade with Pakistan.
Pakistan must abide by its commitment to prevent its soil from being used against India by terrorists.

PM thanked Afghanistan President for the co-operation of Afghan forces in repelling the attack in Heart.
Modi reiterated India’s commitment to Afghanistan’s revival. We expect India-Afghanistan cooperation to increase.
We are deeply involved in Afghanistan, substantive aid package, good cooperation with Afghan forces in training.
Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury:
PM appreciated cooperation extended by Bangladesh in security, power, water management and security.
PM also hoped that Bangladesh will continue to be a important partner leading to the development of both nations.
Rajapaksha with Narendra Modi:
Modi requests Rajapaksa of equality for Tamils in Sri Lanka, to strengthen bilateral relations.
PM Modi also urged Sri Lanka to implement the 13th amendment for the development of Tamils.
There was a discussion between the two (Modi-Rajapaksa) leaders, and that this issue (fishermen) needs to addressed.
PM urged SL President to expedite process of reconciliation, which meets the aspirations of the Tamil population.

Modi wants to visit Nepal this year, hoped constitution would be adopted in one year.

Maldives president told India will increase bilateral cooperation, security interests would be interlinked.

All SAARC leaders invited the PM to visit. He accepted. The dates have to be worked out.
