Apple to unveil new Smart Home system soon

Mumbai: Apple will soon be launching its Smart Home system, which will help you switch on/switch off your lights with the help of your iPhone. Users will also be able to control home appliances with the help of this device.

As per media reports, Apple could use NFC technology for its smart home platform. There’s even a possibility that the NFC technology will be built into iPhone 6. Third-party device makers will apparently be able to tie into the ecosystem in a manner similar to Apple's current ‘Made for iPhone’ licensing.

Financial Times also reported, Apple will unveil new Smart Home system at  WorldWide Developer Conference to be held in June.
