Pakistan PM Sharif’s daughter thanks PM Narendra Modi for shawl

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday thanked Indian premier Narendra Modi for the “beautiful shawl” he  sent as a gift for her grandmother.

“Thank you very much PM @narendramodi for the beautiful shawl for my grandmother. My father personally delivered it to her,” she wrote on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
She attached a photograph of the shawl along with her comment.

The Pakistani Prime Minister flew back home on Tuesday evening after a two-day stay in India.
