Rape survivor’s mother beaten

Lucknow: In yet another shocking incident that showcases the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, the mother of a rape survivor has been brutally beaten by the father of the rape accused in Etawah, which is the home district of chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.

The rape accused, Sunny Yadav, has been arrested and is in jail but the mother of the rape survivor was allegedly beaten up brutally by the father of the accused on May 26 in Etawah.
She was so brutally beaten that she has lost her speech and is under intensive care in a hospital in Etawah.

The accused, which lives in the neighborhood, had entered the woman’s house on May 11 and had allegedly raped her daughter. He was caught by the locals and handed over to the police.

Since then, the woman was being pressurised by the family of the accused to withdraw the case.

The attackers have not yet been arrested.
