IPL -7 final: Parking curbs near Chinnaswamy stadium

Vehicle parking around the stadium has been banned from 2 pm to 11.30 pm

Bengaluru: Vehicle parking in and around Chinnaswamy stadium has been banned from 2 pm to 11.30 pm due to IPL final cricket match, scheduled to be held on Sunday. According to an official release, except BMTC buses, parking of all types of vehicles has been prohibited on both the sides of Queens Road, M G Road, Cubbon Road, Lavelle Road, Rajbhavan Road, Central Street. Dickenson Road, St. Marks Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road and inside Cubbon Park.

Spectators coming in their own vehicles can park them at St Joseph’s Indian High School ground and Kanteerava stadium. Paid parking for the VIP spectators has been arranged at the UB City pay and park facility. The KSCA members can park their vehicles at St. Marks Cathedral Church premises. Parking facilities have also been arranged at Shivajinagar bus stand parking lot for others. Officers on special duty at the stadium can park their vehicles at KGID building premises in Cubbon Park.

BMTC will be running special services from M G Road to various destinations to cater to the cricket fans coming to watch the match. Spectators can enter the stadium from Gate 1 to 9 from Queens Road and those coming from Anil Kumble circle can use Gate 17 to 21, the release said.
