Along with Ismail and Bilal, their close aide Police Fakruddin, who was arrested by the Tamil Nadu Q Branch police near Chennai, was also produced before court by the Tamil Nadu police.

The eight-hour long joint operation by the AP and TN police saw no causalities with the cops successfully taking the two terrorists into custody. The police had recovered 80 gelatin sticks, IEDs, pistols and two bombs from their hideout at Gate-Puttur.
