Ram Vilas Paswan to meet family members of Badaun rape victims on Monday

New Delhi: Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan would visit Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday and meet family members of the two girls who were gangraped and murdered.

Paswan, who is the chief of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP, is visiting the village of the victims along with his son Chirag Paswan, who is also an MP and chairman of the party's Parliamentary Board.

Yesterday, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had visited the family members of the victims.

The visit of Consumer Affairs Minister Paswan, a Dalit leader, is the first by any central minister to the village of the victims.
