Siraj Murad Khan Pathan is originally from Pakistan occupied Kashmir

Mumbai: Sajida, wife of Siraj Murad Khan Pathan, a waiter in Mumbai, has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, secretary to minister of external affairs and the collector of Mumbai, requesting them not to send her husband to Pakistan as he is originally from Pakistan occupied Kashmir, which is an integral part of India. Therefore, it cannot be said that he is living in Mumbai illegally. The letter, written by advocate Yusuf Khan and Anjali Awasthi on behalf of Sajida, says that the foreigner’s regional registration officer, civil authority and DCP, special Branch (II), CID issued an order dated May 6, directing that Siraj Khan shall not move out of jurisdiction of R.A.K. Marg police station, as he is a Pakistani national who may indulge in anti-India activities.
