DGPs selected for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Senior IPS official Anurag Sharma has been named as incharge director general of police for the state of Telangana while Jasti Venkata Ramudu as incharge DGP for the state of AP.

The state government issued orders to this effect on Sunday. Their appointments will be made permanent after the process of selection through the UPSC.

The state also made M. Mahendar Reddy incharge commissioner of police of Hyderabad and B. Shivadhar Reddy as IG Intelligence for Telangana state.
