Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao's Cabinet meets informally
Telangana Legislative Assembly is likely to have its session from June 9
Hyderabad: The council of ministers of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held an "informal" meeting here today after he assumed charge, sources said.
Rao took charge at about 1300 hours in his office in the Secretariat building here after priests performed a puja and blessed him.
The Telangana Legislative Assembly is likely to have its session from June 9, Telangana state finance minister E Rajender indicated.
Chandrasekhar Rao has also allocated portfolios to 11 ministers, who took oath along with him on Monday.
Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chandrasekhar Rao and his council of ministers at a function held at Raj Bhavan this morning.
Telangana came into existence as the 29th state of the country today.
