Family reunion for Akshay Kumar

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, who has been shooting non-stop for the past 6 months fors A R Murugadoss’s Holiday, Krish’s Gabbar and Neeraj Pandey’s Baby, is finally taking a break. He is leaving the country on June 7, a day after Holiday releases this Friday, for a month long holiday.

A friend of the actor told DC, “He needs this break as he hasn’t been able to spend time with his family because of shooting 3 films back-to-back. Also, Aarav, his son, has his summer holidays right now. So he will go now and come back by the first week of July, ensuring that Aarav doesn’t miss his school.”

Akshay, has planned to take the entire family with him this time. So along with wife Twinke and his kids, Aarav and Nitara, mom Aruna Bhatia, mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia, sister Alka Bhatia and her husband, will also accompany him.

A friend added, “Everything just fell in place and the bags are packed. Akshay is first flying to London and then will take off to New York. His sister might come back a little early but the others are returning only by July 7.”

Once he is back, he begins his promotions on ‘Its Entertainment’, directed by Sajid-Farhad, which will release on August 8.
