Vidya Balan to adopt new strategies to go full throttle with 'Bobby Jasoos'

Mumbai: Vidya Balan has been in the news so often now for her personal life — first it was the pregnancy rumour, then reports of a marital rift.

So, we don’t really blame her for wanting to shift the focus back to her work.

With her upcoming film Bobby Jasoos readying for release, Vidya has now found a good opportunity to change the agenda for what is being “rumoured” about.

A source close to the actress said that Vidya has been having intensive discussions with the team of Bobby Jasoos, with respect to how she can help promote the film.

Among the ideas that have cropped up so far are Vidya donning various avatars as she makes promotional appearances.

“Vidya wants to put all the gossip around her personal life behind her, and has informed the team that she wants to try out new ideas to push the film — no matter how bizarre or outlandish they seem,” our source says.

Vidya has had a history of doing whatever she can to promote her films — previously, she had even appeared as a pregnant woman to promote Kahaani.

However, an industry analyst claims the stakes are higher this time.

Vidya needs to do as much as she can to promote Bobby Jasoos, especially since it’s coming after the failure of her previous releases, Ghanchakkar and Shaadi Ke Side Effects.
