Hyderabad: Telangana finance minister Etela Rajender on Tuesday criticised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-designate N. Chandrababu Naidu of running a vicious campaign that IT firms and industries are not willing to come to Telangana any more.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Secretariat, the finance minister said more and more IT companies were now queuing up to come to Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana as there is a stable and able government in the state.
“Even those companies that were rumoured to be going towards Seemandhra region are now coming back to Hyderabad and Telangana. All facilities and policies will be provided to attract the IT and other industries to Telangana,” he added.
Stating that though the National Food Security programme inflicts Rs 3,000 crore financial burden on Telangana, he said the state government will go ahead and implement it for the welfare of the people.
The state government will also purchase rain-affected paddy and extend minimum support price for paddy. Seeds would be supplied for farmers for Kharif, he added.
