Telangana advisers get cabinet rank

Hyderabad: The government on Tuesday issued orders allocating subjects to six advisers to the Telangana state government.

As per the orders, the advisers will hold the rank of Cabinet ministers.

R. Vidyasagar Rao has been given Irrigation; A.K. Goel got Planning and Energy; A. Ramalakshman got Welfare; B.V. Papa Rao is adviser for  Policy and Institutional Development; K.V. Ramanachary is adviser for Culture, Tourism, Endowments, Youth and Media Affairs; while G.R. Reddy will look into Finance.
