Samsung launches Tizen smartphone ‘Samsung Z’
It features a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, powered by 2.3 GHz Quad-core
Mumbai: Samsung Electronics Co has now launched its new smartphone Samsung Z. The Samsung Z was unveiled at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco.
Samsung Z features a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, including a dimension of 138.2 x 69.8 x 8.5mm. It is powered by 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor, which also includes 2GB of RAM. Its Tizen technology delivers an improved memory management, offering a faster startup time and which includes multi-tasking capabilities. This handset also supports superb 2D and 3D graphic qualities and smoother scrolling.
Its inbuilt memory is 16GB, which can be further expanded to 64GB via microSD. Samsung Z also sports an 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.
The company also claims that this lightweight smartphone also offers an improved rendering performance for web browsing. The body of this smartphone comprises of a slim, angular design. With the help of its built-in fingerprint sensor, Samsung Z also provides safe and secure privacy protection. It is fuelled with a 2600 mAh battery. Samsung’s Ultra Power Saving mode lets the phone stay operational even at minimal battery levels in emergencies.
Samsung Z will be available in two colorswhich includes black and gold.
