Chennai: The lyrics of Anjaan’s intro song, released recently by Madhan Karky on his Twitter page, got an overwhelming response from Suriya fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of the movie's teaser.

The lyricist-cum-dialogue writer tweeted, “Thanks to @dirlingusamy & #Yuvan had lovely experience composing this foot-tapping opening song of #Anjaan with them. #BangBangBang.”

Working for the first time with Lingusamy, he says that the song is one that would appeal to the masses, heaping praise on the don’s character, essayed by Suriya during his introduction to the movie.

Madhan, who is awaiting the release of over 30 films that have lyrics by him, including Vai Raja Vai, is currently busy writing dialogues for Venkat Prabhu’s flick which too has Suriya in the lead.

He says, “The film has an interesting subject and ample scope for me to improvise on dialogues, and hence, I signed the project. Also, I’m an admirer of Venkat’s movies and have also worked with him for a song in Biriyani. The first draft of the movie is completed and I will be sitting for the next session soon.”

Three songs in Vikram-Shankar’s Ai are worth watching out for he says, adding, “One of the songs is a visual treat and will have more impact once the video is out.”

Madhan is currently enjoying penning the dialogues for another magnum opus, Mahabali (the Tamil version of Baahubali).
