Salman Khan to play ‘Devil’ in ‘Kick’
The Sajid Nadiadwala film is all set for an Eid release this year
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman khan, who was recently in Warsaw, Poland shooting some of the scenes for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ with Jacqueline Fernandez is all set for the film’s Eid release. The actor’s character in the film is often referred to as ‘devil’, reported Mumbai Mirror.
Sajid was quoted saying, “He is the Devil incarnate. His character is grey and edgy, even the goatee he sports is a salt and pepper mix. You've never seen him play a character like this before.”
In the original Telugu film the character’s name is ‘Kalyan’, but Sajid says ‘Kick’ is more of an adaptation than a remake.
When asked about Salman’s reaction to the idea of ‘devil’ in the film he said, “It's a truly devilish act and no, there was no knee-jerk reaction to the name.”
According to the report, the team worked 18 hours a day in the last 5 months to complete the film and they are just left with a song to complete the film.
‘Kick’ will be releasing on Eid this year, Sajid was also responsible for Salman’s first blockbuster Eid release ‘Judwa’ in 1997.
