Two arrested for raping 15-year-old in Hyderabad

The girl was abducted and raped for two days by the culprits

Hyderabad: The police has arrested two persons in connection with the gang-rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The arrested men are Bandi Sunil Kumar, 24, an autorickshaw driver and a resident of Satamrai and Viswanath Jagadhish, 21, an autorickshaw driver, and a resident of Rajendranagar.

Police said that Sunil and Jagadish abducted her in an autorickshaw while she was going for work.

They took her to Yadagirigutta, and from there to Uppal, where they raped her for two days.

Among the persons the victim identified one is a friend of Srinu who stays near her house.

Srinu had earlier proposed to the victim, but she had refused.

Police said that last Wednesday they had brought her to Mehdipatnam.

While they were asleep, the victim escaped and reached Bahadurpura.

“She then phoned Suresh, her neighbour. Immediately, Suresh along with her sister-in-law rushed to the spot and took her home. At home, she revealed what had happened."
