Capital panel to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister

Mr Naidu hinted that the governmentmight set up the capital between Vijayawada and Guntur

Hyderabad: The Central Committee, under the chairmanship of Sivaramakrishnan, will visit Hyderabad on June 14 to ascertain the views of the Andhra Pradesh government headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The committee members have already toured Seemandhra cities like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Kurnool, Tirupati, Kadapa among others. The committee will suggest multiple locations suitable for being developed into a capital city for AP. Mr Naidu has dropped hints that the government is interested in setting up the capital between Vijayawada and Guntur.

The same is likely to be informed to the committee members.
