Andhra Pradesh Cabinet: Chandrababu Naidu keeps crucial portfolios
The first cabinet meeting will be held in Viskhapatnam on Thursday
Hyderabad: Three days after the swearing-in along with ministers, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu allocated portfolios to his council of ministers on Wednesday, ahead of the first cabinet meeting at Viskhapatnam to be held on Thursday.
While the Chief Minister kept with himself some of the crucial portfolios like Energy, Infrastructure, Investment, Industries and Commerce along with General Administration Department, Law and Justice, Public Enterprises, Cinematography, Tourism and all other portfolios not allocated, the two Deputy Chief Ministers i.e. K.E. Krishna Murthy has been given Revenue, Stamps and Registration while other Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa got Home and Disaster Management.
As expected, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has been given Finance and Planning along with Commercial Taxes and Legislative Affairs.
CH.Ayyannapatrudu got Panchayat Raj, Rural Water Supply, NREGS, B. Gopala Krishna Reddy has been given Environment and Forests, Science and Technology, Cooperation.
Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao has been allocated Irrigation, Command Area Development and Water Resources Management and Dr P.Narayana has been given Municipal Administration and Urban Development along with Urban Water Supply and Urban Planning.
Paritala Sunithamma, widow Paritala Ravi, has been given Price Monitoring, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies. Prathipati Pulla Rao has got Agriculture, Agri-Processing, Marketing and Warehousing, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries.
Kamineni Srinivas has been given Health and Medical Education while Ganta Srinivasa Rao has got Human Resources Development (Primary Education, Secondary Education, Higher & Technical Education). Palle Raghunatha Reddy has been allocated with Information and Public Relations, Information Technology and Communications, Non-Resident Indian empowerment and Relations, Telugu Language and Culture, Minority Welfare & Empowerment.
Peethala Sujatha has been allocated Women Empowerment, Child Welfare and Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare, Mines & Geology. Atchannaidu Kinjarapu has been given Labour & Employment, Factories, Youth and Sports, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Raghava Rao Sidda has got Transport, Roads and Buildings, Kimidi Mrunalini has been given Rural Development, Housing, Sanitation.
Kollu Ravindra has been given BC Welfare and Empowerment, Handlooms and Excise. Ravela Kishore Babu has been given Social Welfare and Empowerment, Tribal Welfare and Empowerment and Pydikondala Manikyala Rao hs got Endowments.
