Chennai: Of late, several debut directors have been making movies with out-of-the-box themes that have also been successful at the box office.
One of the new entrants is Raghavendra, who is coming out with a film, titled Vishayam Veliye Theriya Koodadhu.  The film does not have a heroine, and hence, there’s no romance or cliched running around trees to romantic songs. “It’s a story of five educated young men who separately involve themselves in innovative cheating to make a fast buck. What happens when they meet at one point forms the rest of the plot which is narrated in a humorous way. The script did not demand lovers for these characters, and so, there are no romantic numbers in the film,” Raghavendra tells DC. Senrayan, who was earlier seen in small comedy roles, has been elevated as one of the leads. Others include Aryan, Moodar Koodam Guberan, Nangan and Ampa Shankar. As per the story, a major part of the film has been shot on the highway.
