Hyderabad: Search operations on the third day at the accident site on the Beas River in Himachal Pradesh yielded one more body, taking the toll to six.

The body, identified as that of Mohammed Shabir Hussain, son of S.K. Raza of the city, was retrieved from the dam area and shifted to Mandi hospital.

Out of 24 students of VNR Vignan Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology who were washed away when the water suddenly rose due to floodgates being opened, 18 are still missing.

On Wednesday, search operations had to be called off as it was raining heavily in the area. Bad weather condition, low visibility and muddy waters hampered the operation by the rescue teams.
