Hyderabad: The Central Excise Colony in Baghamberpet was gloomy on Wednesday.

After two agonising days following the mishap in the Beas river, the body of Devashish Bose was found, and was brought to his house in the colony on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, his body was buried at St John’s Cathedral.

His parents said that on the tragic day Devashish was sleeping when they called him in the morning.

The night journey from New Delhi to Shimla had tired him out.

“He called his parents later. After a brief chat, he disconnected saying that he would call later. He never called again,” said one his friends.
