L&T Construction bags Rs 1,027 crore orders

Mumbai: Engineering firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said its construction arm has bagged orders worth Rs 1,027 crore in the May-June period across various business segments. L&T Construction has bagged orders in its building and factories, heavy civil infrastructure, power transmission and distribution and water and renewable energy businesses in May and June, a release issued here said.

The company has received an order worth Rs 967 crore for constructing 19 towers of 19 floors each in Bengaluru. The scope of the contract involves complete civil, structural and finishing works. In addition to this, it has received repeat orders from its various ongoing jobs in the buildings and factories division, the release said. L&T Construction has secured repeat orders worth Rs 60 crore from various ongoing jobs of heavy civil infrastructure, power transmission and distribution and water and renewable energy businesses, it said.
