John Abraham gets 'red card' for World Cup commentary
Fans express disappointment with actor's commentary during the World Cup pre-show
Mumbai: While the world was glued to their TV screens watching the FIFA World Cup kick-off, India was quite disappointed with Bollywood actor John Abraham’s skills as a commentator during pre-show last night.
After purchasing a franchise in the upcoming Indian Super League, John was lucky to part of the commentator panel of The World Cup on prime time along side Gaurav Kapoor, England footballer Peter Crouch and Mikael Silvestre.
Fans even took to Twitter and other social media sites to express their disappointment last night.
The actor also showed up on set, with a runny nose, making it difficult to watch.
Some of the tweets read, “John Abraham in the panel is more embarrassing than India’s rank in FIFA”.
Take a look at the hate the actor got last night.
