iPhone gets Skype 5.0 update

Group chats can now be started directly from the app’s main hub

Mumbai: Microsoft has revamped its 5.0 version of Skype for iPhones. As per the official reports, Skype 5.0 for iPhone will have a new consistent look and feel with the Windows Phone and Android apps.

            

Skype 5.0 app will include optimisations that allow easy management of one’s contacts. Users can even jump between different modes of communication (such as chat, voice and video) seamlessly. Group chats can now be started directly from the app's main hub. Whether it’s creating a group chat, sending a photo or starting a video call, the new version for iPhone has user-friendly features.   

The speed of Skype 5.0 for iPhone is five times faster, thus adding the factor of better stability. Navigating through the new UI is easier and more fluid.
