Producer clears air about 'Govindudu Andari Vadele'
No rift between director and actors, says producer Bandla Ganesh
Hyderabad: Producer Bandla Ganesh of Govindudu Andari Vadele announced that the film will be released on October 1 and he also clarified about the rumours about the film that are doing the rounds.
“The shooting is going on very smoothly and we are releasing the film on October 1,” said Bandla Ganesh. He said that it is a family entertainer and talks about the values of family bonding.
“We had Raj Kiran play Ram Charan’s grandfather, but after the shooting when we saw the rushes, we realised that the film was not coming across as typical ‘Telugu’ movie. So we replaced Raj Kiran with Prakash Raj,” clarifies Ganesh. He apologised to Raj Kiran for replacing him with another actor.
“Prakash Raj gave bulk dates and we reshot the scenes with him. It took eight days and not 20 as reported in the media,” he says.
Clarifying that there is no rift between the director Krishna Vamsi and Raj Kiran or any other actor, Bandla Ganesh says “Director Krishna Vamsi is working hard to make this film the best in his and Ram Charan’s career. We took a one month break because of the heat. There are some child artistes in the film and we don’t want them to suffer in the heat. The last leg of the shoot will be in England from August 1 to 15,” he said.
He also dismissed the rumours that Charan’s father, Chiranjeevi, asked the director to change the script. “We have the bound script with us and we did not change anything in the story,” said Ganesh.
