Man from Bihar killed in mishap
The victim, Dipak Kumar had come to Hyderabad to write railway recruitment board exams
Hyderabad: A 23-year-old youth from Bihar, who came to Hyderabad to appear for an examination, was killed in a road mishap at LB Nagar on Sunday.
The victim, Dipak Kumar, a native of Rohtas district, was hit by a DCM van in the morning. Dipak had come to the city to write the railway recruitment board exams, LB nagar police said.
The examination centre was at Dilsukhnagar Public School and the exam was scheduled in the morning. “He asked the locals the direction and was crossing the road when the van hit him. He suffered serious head injuries and succumbed before medical help arrived” said LB Nagar sub inspector Mr. D Nanu Naik.
The accident occurred near Vijay Lakshmi Theatre, police officials said. They officials said that the vehicle driver drove in rash and negligent manner which caused the accident.
Police have booked a case against the driver under IPC section 304 A for causing death due negligence, and started an investigation.
