Hyderabad: With Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao planning to induct some women ministers into his cabinet, speculations are rife that Konda Surekha from Warangal is sure of getting a Cabinet berth.

Though Medak MLA Padma Devender Reddy also wanted a Cabinet berth, she was made deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. Both Telangana employee leaders, MLC Swamy Goud and MLA Srinivas Goud are in the race for a Cabinet berth but only one of them is likely to get a chance. Party sources said that Mr Rao was in favour of Swamy Goud.

Other probables include MLA Koppula Eshwar from Karimnagar district and Jupally Krishna Rao from Mahbubnagar district. However, another MLA from Mahbubnagar district Lakshma Reddy is also keen on getting a Cabinet berth. From Khammam district Jalagam Venkat Rao is said to be sure of getting a Cabinet berth as he is the sole TRS MLA elected from there.
