A horror anthology by director duo
Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan are back with a horror anthology, 'Aaaah'
Chennai: After creating a buzz with the first ever 3D horror film, Ambuli, the director duo, Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan, is back with a horror anthology, Aaaah, the first of its kind in Tamil cinema.
The thriller consists of five different stories, each happening in five different locations, namely, Tokyo, Dubai, Andhra Highways, an ATM centre and in the middle of the sea in the Bay of Bengal.
“Although it is fictional, the story is loosely based on a few true life incidents. We picked up inspirations from ghost stories from Japan, some Arabian horrors and others,” the directors reveal.
On the unique title, Aaaah, they say, “The scream is the only expression that can denote fear in any language.”
The movie has Gokul of Ambuli fame, Simha, Bala and Megna in the lead roles along with a host of characters in the supporting cast, including M.S. Bhaskar, Bossky and Srijith.
